What I’m working on

About me

As a People & Culture leader in the nonprofit sector, I’m still fascinated by the changing nature of work. As intelligent tools reshape familiar processes and extend our abilities, what might become possible when human creativity meets artificial labour? And what would meaningful collaboration between the two look like?

What I'm thinking about...

The Independent Intelligence Creative

How does abundant intelligence change the economics of a highly independent, creative worker?

Capacity Expansion

How should organizations think about productivity when intelligence increases capability instead of simply increasing speed?

Human–Intelligence Collaboration

What changes when intelligence becomes something we collaborate with rather than merely use?

What I'm doing

I’m exploring how data and digital tools can become experiences you can see, feel, and play with. Here are two projects in progress.

WaveForm

About WaveForm

Waveform is a real-time visualization of human effort.

The web app uses heart rate and sport-specific performance data to translate physical activity into a changing visual form. As effort rises and falls, the waveform responds—reflecting the intensity, rhythm, and progression of the performance as it happens. The platform is intended as a “second screen” experience, demanding less attention from the user.

Currently focused on cycling, Waveform draws from data such as heart rate, power, cadence, and speed. Together, these signals create a live representation of the relationship between the athlete and their effort.

Waveform explores a different way of expressing effort: not only as numbers to measure, but as something visible, expressive, and unique to each moment. “WaveForm” is the original visualizer for the “Experience Bubble,” which encapsulates this visual expression. By creating a separate tuning app, additional Experience Bubbles were created.

Land of Lakes

About Land of Lakes

Land of Lakes began with a simple reflection of how I used to plan and trace canoe routes on physical maps before trips. The web game transforms real-world map data into playable lakes, pairing recognizable shorelines and geography with a boat designed to feel physical and responsive on the water.

The broader experience currently brings together hands-on boating, changing weather and fishing. These systems are intended to make each lake feel like somewhere to learn, navigate, and spend time boating in.
